Often warmer to touch than other synthetic ropes, 100% polyester has a magnificent linen like feel and is easy on the fingers. Extremely abrasion resistant polyester rope also boasts a higher breaking strength than polypropylene or MFP ropes.
Polyester ropes have the major advantage over other synthetic ropes due to the ability to retain flexibility over time. This rope won’t stiffen up. This 8 plait braid construction combined with the polyester material provides this rope with the lowest stretch characteristics of all the synthetic rope options.
Even though polyester is still a synthetic and does possess a low heating point, there is a slightly less risk of rope burn with polyester ropes making it a good choice of rope for beginners and experts alike.
