With a rounded tip covering the leading edge of the blade, the Gerber E-Z ZIP knife is one of the safest cutters to use against the skin in situations that call for quick action. The body is made from thermoplastic and has TacHide inserts around the finger holes to provide a more secure grip.

- 1000 times better than saftey shears. I just tested my new blade out on some old hemp rope. It took all of half a second, one slice, with minimal pressure. Completely stoked. I could even cut on an angle without any issue. (Posted on 1/9/13)
